The WENGER PATAGONIAN EXPEDITION RACE® is a true expedition, taking teams of four through lands previously unknown to the human eye. Racers receive minimal assistance as they traverse through the pristine southern Patagonia by means of trekking, climbing and related rope work, kayaking, mountain biking, and backcountry navigation. They often cover hundreds of kilometers without seeing a soul.

A category for all kinds of adventure films which pack a punch for every minute! As we received well over 200  films in this category, this was the most hotly contested and definitely most difficult to judge category!

Old Boots

Over 200 (239 to be precise) Films were Submitted for the 2011 Festival, the Judging is over and Winners announced...
It’s open to everyone that does weird, wacky, death-defying acts of adventure so here’s your chance to get excited and have a crack of getting your adventure film into the Hall of Fame and onto the big screen. By all accounts, who knows where this may lead to next? The Competition is now over for 2011.

Polar explorers, walkers, rowers, cyclists, climbers, desert trekkers, sailors, runners and paddlers dig out your adventure video diaries and get editing.
